Zepto has appointed Rakesh Malloju as the Senior Director – Product. In his new role, Rakesh will be responsible for leading the company’s product strategy and development, driving growth and innovation in Zepto’s offerings.
With over 10 years of experience building products in the consumer internet space, Rakesh has successfully scaled products from 0 to 30 million MAUs. Prior to joining Zepto, he served as Product Lead at Apollo 24|7, the e-commerce platform of Apollo Hospitals Group, where he focused on optimizing the user experience for the consumer app. His work included fine-tuning key aspects such as search, browsing, checkout, pricing, allocation, and payments.
Rakesh also has a strong background in product management from his previous role as Head of Product at Infinity Learn, where he was responsible for product and design with a focus on product-market fit, as well as MAU and DAU growth and user research. Additionally, he has worked with leading companies such as Toppr, Housing.com, and Mu Sigma, further solidifying his expertise in scaling consumer products.
