Mumbai : Global media agency Zenith Optimedia’s Managing Director, Hari Krishnan, will host one of the sessions at the annual India Radio Forum 2016 in Mumbai on 13th May.
The one-day forum presents the latest developments in Indian radio by noted media practitioners, offers networking opportunities for all industry professionals and aims to boost the relevance of radio.
Krishnan, a well-known advertising and communication professional, has previously served at various advertising agencies in senior leadership roles.
His session, titled ‘How can radio kill the video star?’, will discuss where does radio stand in terms of its role and content appeal in a highly evolved media scenario where personalised devices rule and hyper-proliferation of content that is increasingly visual.
The session will also analyse if radio is lagging behind while other traditional media like television and print have moved ahead in terms of integrating with digital to enhance brand engagement.
As challenges of high cost of entry and legislation around content prevail, the breakthroughs that could overcome these constraints and make radio an indispensable part of a media plan that drives brand stories will also be discussed.
Other speakers at the forum include Ashwin Padmanabhan, COO, Reliance Broadcast Network, Gaurav Mehta, Chief Marketing Officer, OLX South Asia and Nisha Narayanan, COO, 93.5 Red FM.
