Mumbai: Biscuits and confectionery manufacturer Parle Products has appointed Public is Groupe-owned Zenith India as its media agency following a multi-agency pitch.
The exact size of the account could not be ascertained but industry estimates put it at about Rs 300 crore. The account was earlier with Havas Media.
“Zenith understands the pulse of Indian consumers,” said Mayank Shah, category head at Parle Products. “Their passion for the job, innovative thinking and strong play in consumer insights, digital, technology, content and analytics makes them the right partner for us.”
Known for its mass market Parle-G biscuits, Parle Products had last month entered the premium category with the launch of brand Frigberg.
The Mumbai-based company also sells biscuits and candies under brands such as Monaco, Krack Jack, Hide & Seek, Milano, Mango Bite and Melody.
Zenith India handles the media mandate of companies such Nestle, Micromax, LVMH Group, Toyota, Jabong and H&M.
