Mumbai: ZEE5, a homegrown video streaming platform and a multilingual storyteller, has announced the elevation of Shresth Gupta to the position of Vice President – Marketing (SVOD) for India and Global. In his new role, Shresth will be responsible for overseeing the launch and promotion of original series and movies across various languages, including Hindi, Bengali, and Marathi, with a focus on driving subscription growth both in domestic and international markets.
Shresth joined ZEE5 in August 2020 and has since played a crucial role in shaping the platform’s marketing strategies. With over 15 years of experience in strategic planning and brand building, Shresth has previously held leadership positions at notable organizations such as Sun TV Network, Zee Entertainment Enterprises, and Reliance Broadcast Network. He has successfully led several high-impact campaigns, including the launches of Zindagi, &Prive HD, and Sun Bangla in the eastern markets. His work on campaigns for major ZEE5 titles, including Taj: Divided by Blood, Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai, and Gyaarah Gyaarah, has also been widely acclaimed.
Recognized for his expertise in digital marketing, storytelling, and consumer insights, Shresth has been instrumental in driving engagement and building brand loyalty across multiple platforms. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Communications from MICA and a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Rajasthan University.
His elevation marks ZEE5’s ongoing commitment to strengthening its marketing strategy, particularly in the Subscription Video On Demand (SVOD) sector, and reinforces its position as India’s leading digital entertainment platform.
