Hyderabad: Zee Telugu, a Telugu television landscape, is set to launch an exciting new fiction series, “Ummadi Kutumbam,” premiering on November 4. The show will air every Monday to Saturday at 12 PM, bringing fresh family drama to its viewers.
“Ummadi Kutumbam” follows the journey of Ananda Bhairavi, portrayed by Roopa, as she seeks a suitable partner for her son. In her quest, she encounters Saranya, played by Sakshi, a woman grounded in family values and teamwork—qualities Ananda cherishes. However, Saranya’s sister Ananya, portrayed by Susmitha, adds complexity to the story as she embraces a free-spirited, ambitious lifestyle.
The lead roles will feature Yashwanth (Darshan) alongside Sakshi, with a supporting cast that includes notable actors Roopa, Karam, and Susmitha. The storyline promises to engage audiences with its blend of family values and modern challenges.
As “Ummadi Kutumbam” joins the Zee Telugu lineup, some scheduling adjustments will occur. The existing show “Seetha Rama” will move from its 12 PM slot to 3:30 PM, while the long-running series “Suryakantham” will go off-air.
