Zee Khana Khazana has appointed Srikant Malladi as Head of Programming. Formerly with Colosceum Media Pvt Ltd. as Head of Entertainment (Non-Fiction), Malladi played a pivotal to make MasterChef India one of the most popular shows in the Indian TV Industry.
Srikant Malladi comes with over 14 years of diverse media experience – web journalism, films (Bollywood & Hollywood) and television, he has donned multiple hats. In the last 8 years he has focused and specialised in large format, prime time, non – fiction shows for a variety of Indian broadcasters. The TV exposure gave him the opportunity to run large crews (160+), have a micro (day to day) and a macro (seasonal) perspective, liaise with local Broadcasters (GEC + Niche) and international IP holders to identify, develop and adapt entertaining ideas to Indian cultural sensibilities.

Malladi holds M.A in English degree from University of Delhi. In 2000 he had joined dhadkan.com, one of a leading Indian music website as a features writer and later became the editor for the same. With wide range of experience as an Assistant Director to Post Production Manager and various integrated responsibilities, both in Bollywood and Hollywood productions, he has directed 3 documentaries on girl child education with Rahul Bose (actor) as a freelance media professional.
Malladi joined Midi Tech India Pvt Ltd. in 2006 and started working as an Associate Creative Director (Non-Fiction) for the shows like Lead India (Star One), K for Kishore (Sony) and Acting Ki Funshala (Sab TV). With an expertise in non-fiction shows, Srikant Malladi joined Colosceum Media Pvt Ltd. in 2007 as Supervising Producer and very quickly moved up the ladder to become Head of Development and eventually got appointed as the Head of Entertainment (Non Fiction). At Coloseum Media where is spent over 7 years, he was part of several mainstream non fictional shows like Covershot 2: Mission North East, Roadies X1, Jaanbaaz, MasterChef Junior (Star Plus), MasterChef India Ancillary Properties, MasterChef India and MasterChef Season 4.
