New Delhi: ZEE Hindustan continues to salute the spirit of startup and entrepreneurship through a new Intellectual Property called Rise – Startup to Unicorn. Such a platform on a mainstream news channel is a unique proposition for the startup universe. Many entrepreneurs of various startups came forward and presented their thoughts, inspiration along with their products which contributes to the Indian Economy through this event RISE – Startup to Unicorn., which was held on 27th November 2021, in Delhi.
They had several panel discussions where founders and CEOs of various startups shared their vision and growth ideas. Leaders from established companies shared guiding principles and policy decisions. They also identified key achievements of the startups participating and felicitated them.
Ashwini Vaishnav, Minister of Railways, IT & Communication along with Piyush Goyal, Minister of Commerce & Industry, Textile, Food consumer Affairs were the chief guests. The guest of honor included Nitin Gadkari, Minister of Transport & Highways, Narendra Tomar, Minister of Agriculture and Arjun Meghwal, MoS Parliamentary Affairs and Culture. They spoke about how the Indian ecosystem has been optimistic on aiding startups with Govt. policies and funding policies becoming more flexible. Startups in the country have been able to create an estimated 40,000 new jobs over the year, taking the total jobs in the start-up ecosystem to 1.6 – 1.7 lakh.
Industry stalwarts like Aprameya Radhakrishna, Co-founder of Koo, Saurav Kumar, Founder & CEO of Euler Motors, Sandeep Aggrawal, Founder & CEO of Droom, Ritesh Malik, Founder & CEO of Innov8, Prashant Pitti, Co-Founder of EaseMyTrip and Rahul Garg, Founder & CEO of Moglix were present as the star panelists of the event. They shed a light on opportunities & challenges, innovation strategies in digital age and role of startups in building an Atma Nirbhar Bharat.
