New Delhi: Zee Entertainment is all set for the third edition of the highly anticipated DP World International League T20 (ILT20), with cricketing legends Harbhajan Singh and Shoaib Akhtar returning as brand ambassadors for the tournament. The action-packed cricketing extravaganza will kick off on January 11, 2025, with a grand opening ceremony at the iconic Dubai International Stadium, marking the beginning of a month-long cricket spectacle.
Harbhajan Singh, India’s legendary off-spinner with over 711 international wickets, and Shoaib Akhtar, Pakistan’s renowned fast bowler who has 444 international wickets, will once again be seen in their ambassadorial roles, adding star power and credibility to the tournament. The duo has been a constant presence in the league’s journey since its inception, with both players also featuring as part of the commentary panel in previous seasons.

Season 3 of DP World ILT20 will see a highly competitive match-up between defending champions MI Emirates and Dubai Capitals in the opening match. The tournament is set to captivate audiences with high-energy performances from Bollywood superstars Shahid Kapoor, Pooja Hegde, and Sonam Bajwa at the opening ceremony, which will be hosted by Bollywood producer and actor Jackky Bhagnani and Ridhima Pathak. The ceremony will begin at 6:00 PM (local time), with gates opening at 4:00 PM (local time).
Fans can tune in to watch the entire tournament across ZEE’s 15 widely distributed linear TV channels, including &Pictures SD, Zee Cinema HD, Zee Action, Zee Telugu HD, Zee Tamil HD, Zee Kannada HD, and many more. The tournament will also be available for free on ZEE’s OTT platform ZEE5, along with its syndicate partners’ TV and digital networks globally.
