Mumbai: Zee Entertainment Enterprises has acquired the telecast rights of the movie ‘The Boy with the Topknot’ from Endemol Shine for airing in India.
The movie The Boy with the Topknot is based on the memoirs of Sathnam Sanghera.
Produced by Kudos and Parti Productions for BBC Two, The Boy with the Topknot was adapted by Mick Ford and directed by Lynsey Miller. It features Sanghera’s account of his childhood and growing up to face a bunch of painful family secrets and truths in his 20s.

Sathnam Sanghera, is a British journalist and author, who was born to Punjabi parents in Wolverhampton in 1976. The Boy With The Topknot: A Memoir of Love, Secrets and Lies in Wolverhampton and it was published by Penguin in 2008. His memoir, The Boy With The Topknot (2009) was adapted for BBC Two in 2017.
