Z Living channel is debuting six new series between July and August, including the cook-off show Family Food Challenge.
Z Living, the US based health and entertainment cable network from Zee Entertainment’s subsidiary Asia TV USA Ltd. based out of Los Angeles, will premiere Family Food Challenge on July 11 at 9 p.m. The show sees two celebrity chefs recruit two families with poor eating habits, pitting them against each other to teach the families how to prepare inexpensive, quick and nutritious meals. The results are judged by 40 diners, and the winners receive a year’s supply of groceries.
On July 5, Z Living will debut Class FitSugar at 5 p.m. and Change the Day You Die at 9 p.m. Hosted by Anna Renderer, Class FitSugar presents trending workouts to assist with healthy living, weight loss and stress relief. The show is produced for Z Living by POPSUGAR Studios and is the first show to come out of the network’s partnership with POPSUGAR. Change the Day You Die, meanwhile, sees Dr. Adam Carey and life coach Patricia Mitchell use a series of medical and lifestyle tests to predict the day an individual will die. In each episode, Carey and Mitchell give someone who is struggling in life the opportunity to change his or her future and begin leading a healthier lifestyle.
On July 12 at 8 p.m., the network will debut Kim’s Rude Awakenings. On the show, British personality and housekeeping expert Kim Woodburn uses tough love to restore order to unruly households. August 8 will see the premiere of The Healthy Gourmet. Airing at 8 p.m., the series follows nutritionist Julie Daniluk and five-star chef Ezra Title as they go head-to-head to create the perfect meal, with Daniluk touting the importance of nutrition and Title pushing the value of taste. Z Living is also preparing to launch Now Eat This with Rocco DiSpirito on August 22 at 9 p.m. On the show, the titular chef teaches viewers how to make delicious dishes without “bad carbs,” “bad fats” or processed sugar.
“Our summer lineup offers fun and engaging content that will make viewers laugh, sweat and feel inspired,” said Z Living’s executive VP and head of programming, Tim Krubsack. “Aligning with POPSUGAR and other prolific producers with an innovative take on food, fitness and lifestyle will continue to propel Z Living’s health-entertainment brand.”
