Chennai: Vijay TV is all set to launch a new series titled “Kalyanam Mudhal Kadhal Varai” from 3rd November onwards. Channel Sources and theme of the Promo confirm that the new show is a remake of the popular Hindia Soap “Yeh Hai Mohabbatein”
“Yeh Hai Mohabbatein” was a popular show being aired in the Prime band of Star Plus at 11PM during the Weekdays. The show was produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms and has successfully completed 270 episodes as on date.
The story of “Yeh Hai Mohabbatein” revolves around the the story of Raman Bhalla and Ishita Iyer who are connected by their common love for Raman’s little daughter Ruhi. Ishita, who is unable to bear children, shares a very close, motherly relationship with Ruhi, while filling the void of a child in her own. She has been rejected by many marriage alliances because she is barren. She is friendly, warm and caring while Raman is bitter and hard from the days of his divorce.
During his daughter’s custody case, he marries Ishita so that he can get custody. Raman gets his daughter Ruhi’s custody. However, Raman also has an 11 year-old son Aditya, whose mind is poisoned against Raman by his ex-wife Shagun Arora. The further story revolve around, how Ishita and Raman manage to overcome the evils of Shagun and Aditya.
Vijay TV’s latest promo exactly depicts above plot with attachment of Priya towards Arjun’s daughter Pooja, where by Pooja becoming the common cause of attachment Arjun and Priya.
“Kalyanam Mudal Kadhal Varai” will be on air at 7Pm in place of “Pudhu Kavidhai” which is a remake of “Pratigya” during the week days Monday to Friday.
In recent days Vijay TV is obsessed with remake of popular Hindi shows in Star Plus as the strategy is showing good results for its other regional GECs like Suvarna and Asianet in Kannada and Malayalam respectively. Apparently, the channel’s top rated show “Daivam Thanda Veedu” also is a remake of the most popular Hindia show “Saath Nibhana Saathiya”
