Social Media Platform X removed the post by Indian National Congress leaders- Ragini Nayak, Jairam Ramesh, and Pawan Khera as directed by the Delhi High Court order.
“This move reiterates the court’s commitment to addressing matters pertaining to an individual’s reputation with seriousness and adequate urgency,”said a statement.
This directive arose from a case originating during a televised debate on the India TV Channel. During this debate, Congress leaders were accused of misrepresenting Rajat’s actions and sharing edited footage on social media.
Rajat Sharma filed a lawsuit seeking a permanent injunction and INR 100 crores in damages, alleging that several Congress leaders misrepresented his conduct during a televised debate on the India TV Channel and shared edited footage on social media.
