MUMBAI: Wonderla Holidays, an amusement park chain has unveiled its mascot, Chikku, in a new avatar. The aim is to keep up with the preferences of the dynamic younger generations. Over the years, Chikku has been adored as the face of Wonderla, connecting with families and children alike. Now, Chikku, reimagined to resonate with today’s young audiences looks to bring a fresh and bold energy to the Wonderla experience.
Alongside this transformation, Wonderla, in collaboration with CGI studio Red Raion, has launched ‘Adventures of Chikku – Wild Ride’. This is a new CGI film and ride that redefines the Adventures of Chikku experience. The launch took place at Wonderla Kochi, where Chikku’s bold new look and the interactive film were revealed. The event was graced by Arun K. Chittilappilly, MD, Dheeran Choudhary, COO, Ravikumar M.A., Park Head-Kochi, Wonderla Holidays and Salvo Fallica, COO Red Raion.
The film premiered at Wonderla amusement parks in Bangalore and Hyderabad, enhancing the existing Adventures of Chikku ride with an immersive new storyline and state-of-the-art visuals.
The story takes audiences on a journey as Chikku and friends stumble upon a futuristic skateboard that spirals out of control, leading to hilarious mishaps, suspenseful twists, and high-energy escapades. Featuring visuals, characters and synchronized special effects, this immersive experience celebrates teamwork, friendship, and fun, redefining Chikku’s adventures for a new generation.
