Journey
I come from a business family and hence being part of the corporate world was a first for someone in the family. I learnt a lot on the job and I have had the privilege of having some great mentors who taught me. The one thing I have learnt is that hard-work, discipline and humility are virtues that will take you a long way. I have spent over 10 years in sales and business development and while there have been roadblocks, I have learnt and grown immensely along the way, which has made the journey so far very fulfilling.
Inspiration & Inspiring the team
I have found inspiration from women of all ages and all walks of life. From my grandmother who taught me resilience & never to be dependent on anyone to my mother & mother-in-law who always ensured they give me an environment to grow and learn; women have left an indelible imprint on my life. My message to my team is do as you please but never hesitate to explore your potential to the maximum because we women have got this. Just be true to yourself and your work and stand up for what you rightly deserve.
Empowerment of Women
While many of us enjoy the freedom to do as we please, this isn’t true for all women. Women and girls continue to suffer from discrimination around the world. Research and evidence show that these very gender gaps inhibit socio-economic growth. We must come together to educate and liberate girls and women by designing policies and initiatives that enable equal access and opportunity for women and girls. This should not be restricted to some annual seminars but become part of everyday culture of an organization.

Journey
My journey so far has been about finding the perfect expression for my talents and abilities. I am deeply analytical and strategic by nature yet at the same time I look for creative inspiration in my work and having spent the initial few years in your typical investment banking and consulting that are the norm after you graduate from IIT. I found the space of media in 2015 and haven’t looked back.
Inspiration & Inspiring the team
My mom is my hero. She has been a working professional all her life, and hasn’t stopped working even after retirement; her thirst for knowledge is unquenchable and has always inspired me to be a better version of myself. I am also influenced by fiction writers; they represent the infinite capacity of the human mind to create a universe around your dreams and fantasies. For my team I try to foster an environment of personal and professional growth that allows each individual to perform to the best of their abilities while learning skills they might be lacking.
Empowerment of Women
I believe every individual has the tools available to them to orchestrate their own success, they just need to have the courage to pick them up and put them to work, and if you chisel at it long enough you can carve out any future you want, no matter the circumstance.
