Mumbai: This Pride Month, White Rivers Media (WRM) built on their ongoing commitment to the LGBTQIA+ community by launching a series of impactful initiatives that furthered their efforts to address new-age problems and empower the community. Their conviction is that allyship requires more than just ‘tokenism’.
WRM’s focus continued to be on three key pillars: fostering understanding within its own walls, addressing real-world challenges faced by the community, and amplifying diverse voices.
Partnering with the Keshav Suri Foundation, an NGO that works for the betterment of marginalised communities, including LGBTQIA+, WRM spotlighted the pertinent issue of dating app scams targeting folks in the pride community. Their social media campaign aimed to raise awareness, encourage reaching out, and empathise with those being tricked.
