Mumbai: Westlife Foodworld Ltd. (formerly Westlife Development Ltd.), the master franchisee of McDonald’s restaurants in West and South India, has announced the appointment of Sandhydeep Purri as its Chief People Officer. In this role, she will spearhead the company’s HR strategies, focusing on strengthening HR governance, streamlining strategic HR processes, and integrating technology into human resources functions. Sandhydeep will report to Saurabh Kalra, Managing Director, and collaborate closely with the leadership team to drive a high-performance, future-ready organization.
With nearly three decades of HR leadership experience, Sandhydeep has held key roles across diverse industries, including Ed-Tech, Retail, QSR, and IT. Prior to joining Westlife Foodworld, she was the Chief People Officer at Unacademy Group. Her professional journey also includes leadership positions at Sapphire Foods, Aditya Birla Retail, Deloitte, and others. Having led large-scale change management initiatives across India, Southeast Asia, Europe, and North America, she brings a global perspective to talent and organizational development.

A Mathematics graduate from Delhi University, Sandhydeep holds an MBA in HR from the Institute of Planning and Management and has completed an Executive Program in Management from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management, New York.
