#MumbaiRains
It’s a scary proposition for some of us to catch a flight in the monsoons. Hopefully the wizards at Vistara will be as good as they have been each time in easing their way out of the turbulence. But on ground, is the real fear when it comes to Mumbai. God bless the delivery guys. And everyone with a sense of humour.

#MentalHealthDay
How we love to take things in a context slightly tangential to how it was intended, to make a point! Kapil Dev was at the receiving end last week and I am not taking sides here. Yes, mental health is a serious issue and shouldn’t be brushed aside. But hey, look at where he was coming from. The yorker became a juicy full toss. The batters were waiting. Well, the former Indian captain certainly got an education around #MentalHealthDay.
Former Indian captain #KapilDev has kicked up a storm by saying that players should not play IPL if they feel pressure. He stated that players should enjoy what they are doing and asserted that he does not understand terms like #depression. #MentalHealthDay

#JusticeDelayed
Delhi University prof. GN Saibaba was acquitted by the Bombay High Court after seven or eight years in custody. He is wheelchair-bound and as per reports, 90pc physically disabled. Another convict, 33, died before the acquittal. Justice delayed in his case was justice denied. But we shouldn’t be shocked, should we? Again, not getting into whether or not someone is guilty. But if s/he isn’t, the person should not be punished until the courts declare him or her innocent. A thematic set of stories could solve a systemic problem. Does mainstream media have the time or inclination?

Your own stamp…
“Did you know you could get a commemorative Indian postal stamp made to order? I did not.”
Thanks to #deepaalinaair this one was noticed. No, I did not know either. But I certainly am about to put this to good use.

My mother received her 'own' postal stamp on her 75th.
What a cool gifting idea.

#AcharyaBalakrishna
Since this is not verified by any recognised media handle, I don’t want to venture into the details. But if there is indeed recognition by Stanford, the Patanjali honcho does deserve a pat on the back and then some.

#IranProtests to #IranRevolution
The world and its superpowers have woken up. They have told the protestors that they are with them. The journey from ‘protests’ to ‘revolution’ has been bloody. Hopefully it will usher in a new dawn that is acceptable to the people of Iran.
Thank you @VP Harris for meeting with me to discussed how the U.S. will make sure the voices of Iranian protesters are heard, and that Iranian officials are held accountable for their brutality and abuses.#MahsaAmini #IranProtests https://t.co/TT4JtTxpNF https://t.co/4zD2Fdpwuh
