#BBC
The Indian government of the day has not done itself a favour in terms of optics with the IT ‘survey’ on the BBC’s Indian office/s. Especially internationally. But it has perhaps decided to bite that bullet in return for placing a strong deterrent should other global media dare to portray it in unfavourable hues. The mask, if there was a semblance of it, is now off.
Old flame of journalism is still left with a handful of dailies like The Telegraph and Free Press Journal. What a striking headline! #BBC #AdaniScam2023 #ModiMuteAdaniLoot pic.twitter.com/0Qt30RdwH8

#IndVsAus #Hotstar
Unbelievable, this. How could a streaming site be down for this reason? More to it than meets the eye? Can’t rule out anything, can we? Meantime, the IndVsAus series is alive and killing it. The lady who tagged PETA saying someone is ‘brutally hurting’ kangaroos (the Aussie team) deserves a beer. Or two.
LOL, no wonder the entire #Hotstar website is down – their domain expired and they've just renewed it a while ago 😂 Someone is gonna get 🔥 for this #INDvsAUS #INDvAUS pic.twitter.com/keGy4UlIEb

#SpyBalloon
No laughing matter, this. Or another opportunity to smile. Why not? The Joe Biden administration is getting bashed up by some for allegedly letting a Chinese ‘Spy Balloon’ “fly all over the US” and then ‘shooting everything’ that’s flying out there. The last Tweet here packs a killer punch. If life gives you lemons, make lemonade. If you have to live in dangerous times and there’s nothing you can do about it, make jokes. One sure way to make the world a better place.

Joe Biden let a Chinese spy balloon cross the entire US. Now he’s shooting down everything that flies. Why? Who knows. He apparently doesn’t.
Either the Biden Administration is lying to us or they’re totally and completely incompetent. Or both. pic.twitter.com/ll3qQSnjav

#IPL
It’s here. Sorry, it’s almost here and starts only in late March, but it’s already all over the place. Helped in good measure by the split in digital streaming and television broadcast mandates, pitting one against the other. The competition is intense. The consumer will win. Meantime, nostalgia has taken over. For legend MSD to several others, this will be a landmark edition. It is also a special year for IPL because history is indeed being made, with the women’s IPL making its debut before the men’s tournament.

#MahsaAmini #IranRevolution
Call it revolution, or call it protests. It shows no sign of abating. A large chunk of the people of Iran seem to have had enough. When so many hit the streets risking arrest, life and limb, something should give. Let’s pray for peace in the disturbed nation and pray for those killed to rest in peace.

On the anniversary of the Islamic revolution, the organizers of a pro- regime protest held up an unveiled pictures of me— threatening to kidnap me soon.
