Positive times during lockdown, a step to be calm!
It has been a month since we’ve been working from home and despite all the uncertainty and the difficulties that come from being on a lockdown, what’s getting us through is the feeling of togetherness and belonging. ‘Working from home’ has started to feel like the new normal for most of us. But, since we are all programmed to be extremely social thus, the lack of any social contact is difficult for everyone. Psychological resilience is imperative during such times, therefore our entire focus is to make sure that the team stays positive during this quarantine phase. Thanks to technology and apps like Microsoft teams and Zoom we can stay connected and still maintain social distancing.
We have a strong line-up of interesting events organized for our teams every evening just so WATizens can take a little break from work and have social interactions digitally. Beginning with “Chai pe Charcha”, we have people talk about the emerging trends across industries such as BFSI, Automobile, Retail, FMCG etc. With mental wellness being of utmost priority, we have sessions from celebrities, doctors, life coaches along with Friday nights being the gaming night and weekends be dedicated to fitness and dancing sessions in the morning and Jam session in the evenings. With our family members also participating in these sessions they feel more like a big family get-together. We strongly believe that every dark cloud has a silver lining, thus these daily engagements are a chance for people to thicken that lining.
