International: WarnerMedia Entertainment Networks has announced its Southeast Asian leadership team following the merger of the Turner Asia Pacific and HBO Asia businesses.
Team under Clement Schwebig, Managing Director of Southeast Asia, Pacific and China, includes Yasmin Zahid overseeing affiliate distribution and marketing for all HBO channels, CNN International, Cartoon Network, Boomerang, Warner TV and Oh!K.
David Simonsen will lead the development of HBO GO. Awantika Sood has been tapped to drive ad-sales, branded content and commercial opportunities.
Magdalene Ew will oversee the entertainment pillar, including all HBO channels, Warner TV and Oh!K.
Original productions for the entertainment pillar will fall under the leadership of Jessica Kam.
Shonali Bedi will be responsible for business development and strategy in the region.
Marianne Lee will lead the consumer marketing and central services team in the interim. Leslie Lee remains at the helm of the kids’ brands in AsiaPac.

As we put in place a new structure for growth, I’m looking forward to working closely with this talented group to deliver a big 2020 for us with increased investment in original programming, and an even bigger footprint for our brands, franchises and platforms.”
The WarnerMedia Entertainment Pacific footprint in Asia straddles 42 countries and operates in 14 languages.
