Digital out-of-home (DOOH) company Vritti iMedia has integrated geofencing technology (GeoReach) across 575 state bus stations across Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka, Goa, Punjab, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh and Haryana, where it operates the digital audio network through its branded platform ‘Audiowalla Bus Stand’.
GeoReach focuses on engaging with individuals in the proximity of a bus station’s Passenger Information System (PIS). Waiting passengers can view the advertisement on the TV screens, listen to it through the PIS, and thanks to Geofencing integration can interact by clicking on the ad across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Google and other websites.
Veerendra Jamdade, Founder and CEO, Vritti iMedia, said, “Studies have shown Geofencing to exponentially grow the Call To Action (CTA) and sales conversions. Geofencing, when integrated with Vritti’s Audiowalla Bus Stand (AWB) framework, creates a unique marketing tool that offers real-time customer analytics. GeoReach can especially help in creating rural marketing messages across industries spanning FMCG, automotive, fintech, insurance, agritech, and e-commerce. Moreover, this technology serves as a compelling platform for delivering socially relevant and purpose-driven messages.”
Rajesh Radhakrishnan, Founder and CMO, added, “GeoReach reinforces Vritti’s commitment to delivering unparalleled customer experiences and enhancing brand-consumer interactions. GeoReach empowers brands with contextual relevance, fortified by engagement tools such as offers, coupons and guarantees. It amplifies the passenger journey, creating a full-circle experiential marketing phenomenon. It cultivates a strong bond between brands and consumers redefining marketing engagement.”
The ads and messages can be heard within 100 metres of a bus station. The digital messages across all the 575 bus stations are centrally controlled and monitored from Vritti’s headquarters in Pune.
