Dentsu Aegis Network media agency VizeumMalaysia has appointed Chinar Joshi as its new General Manager for strategy.
Chinar Joshi joins from IPG Mediabrands Malaysia, where he spent nearly five years at UM, first in a strategy and planning role. He was then promoted to general manager to lead its agency BPN last year.
During his tenure at IPG, Joshi handled clients such as Johnson & Johnson, CIMB, U-Mobile and Suntory and Cerebos. In his new role, he will report to Wong SiewWai, the agency’s chief executive officer.
Hailing from India, Joshi has 10 years of industry experience, having worked at creative agencies Wieden+Kennedy and Ogilvy & Mather, before moving to the media side.
