MUMBAI: Tata Sky chief commercial officer Vikram Mehra has quit. He will be joining Saregama India as its managing director. Mehra will assume the new role by October-end.
He will be filling in the position vacated by Suryanarayna Mantha, who had left in March this year.
The music label is owned by RP Sanjiv Goenka Group. An IIM Lucknow pass out, Mehra was with Tata Sky since its inception. Prior to that, he was with Star India as vice president, forming part of the company’s digital platforms team.
At Tata Sky, he was responsible for subscription revenue management, churn management, brand marketing, new product development, customer analytics, interactive service operations, consumer research and PR. Prior to Star, he was with Tata Group, working in various positions and companies.
