Chennai: Star India’s Tamil GEC Vijay TV that has suffered historic set back by losing its No. 2 Tamil GEC spot to Zee Tamil is ramping up its late Prime Time with two new show as part of its quick reflex steps to strengthen .
The Channel hopes to bring in some additional GRPs from its late Prime Time bands with the launch of a Comedy Show “SirippuDa” and Crime Investigation show “Kuttram – NadandhadhuEnna” from 29th August.
The Comedy show title “SirippuDa” was drawn from the Kabali fame signature tune “NeruppuDa” to highlight the level fun elements involved in the show. Popular Comedians Erode Mahesh and Dhadi Balaji who were part of many Vijay TV shows in the past and present will be the driving forces behind “SirippuDa”
SirippuDa on Vijay TV will be aired on every Monday to Saturday @ 9:30 PM.
On the other hand, the Crime Investigation show “Kuttram – NadandhadhueEnna” that will be aired at 10 PM on every Monday to Saturday is a refurbished format that was aired on Vijay TV couple of years before.
Kuttram – NadandhadhueEnna on Vijay TV will revisit the most chilling crime cases that were trending in the public domain with illustration. The show also comprises the re-construction of crime scenes with investigation view point that will be presented by an anchor.
It seems the new version is likely to have in-puts and added elements from shows like Savdhan India on Life OK in order to raise the bar of the show.
Vijay TV also launched its flagship Comedy Show Kalakka Povathu Yaaru Season 6 last Sunday to Strengthen its Sunday afternoon time band.
