Vijay TV is all set to air a fantasy serial Neeli from December 12th, 8 Pm onwards every Monday to Friday.
It is first of its kind in Indian serial industry where a toy is used as a character with high-level graphics involved for the motion of Toy. Neeli is the name of that doll which is possessed by the spirit of the dead mother. Baby Chavi as Abi plays the central character in this serial; she expresses all her emotions in front of a doll. Neeli protecting baby Chavi from all threats, this is the base plot of Neeli serial.
Surya, the father of Abi is a flourishing business man. After he lost his beloved wife, he takes care of Savi. After many years of family member’s request he decides to get married again to a beautiful young lady Rekha. Rekha’s looks and behaviour are very deceiving and Abi falls prey to her fake love. Rekha is deeply in love with both Surya and his money and decides to marry him. She decides to slowly kill Abi with the help of her sister and brother who are all in support of Rekha. All is not over yet as there is someone helping Abi in every walk of life.
It’s Abi’s favorite doll, that’s helping her and in the doll is the spirit of Abi’s mother Divya. The story is a tug of war between the spirit and Rekha in either destroying Abi or saving her. Television actor Naveen plays the father role as Surya.
The seven-year-old child artist chavi plays the role of Abi, the entire story revolves around her. Previously she has acted in popular movies like Puli, Thillukku Thuttu & currently doing a pivotal role in Actor Dhanush’s directorial debut movie Power pondy. Kavitha who plays the role of step mother is a popular television actress in kannada and telugu. The serial will be directed by C. Jerrold, who has directed popular serials like Madura, Kallikkaattu Pallikoodam, En Peyar Meenatchi and Rettai Vaal Kuruvi.
