Chennai : The Mahashivaratri Celebrations at Isha Yoga Foundation based in Coimbatore is considered as one of the most famous devotional event in South India. This year, Mahashivarathri falls on 7th March, the 14th day of every Lunar month.
Isha Foundation Celebrates the holy night of shivaratri with scores of special performances and Poojas, which will see the participation of many dignitaries and celebrities.

This year Isha Foundation organised a three day celebrations program branded as Yaksha, named after celestial beings in Indian mythology, is a spectacular and colorful feast of music and dance hosted annually by Isha Foundation, amidst the sacred space of the Dhyanalinga located at the foothills of the verdant Velliangiri Mountains.
Celebrated in the month of March, and attracting thousands of ardent spectators, Yaksha features 3 consecutive nights of musical concerts and dance by some of the greatest artistes in India. The Foundation also organises a huge Annadhanam program for its devotees.
