Unilever has named Heiko Schipper as President of Nutrition Business Group today. He is currently positioned as President of Bayer Consumer Health and a Member of Board Management Bayer AG.
On leaving Bayer, Schipper wrote on his LinkedIn handle, “Today is a special day. It was just announced that I’ll be leaving #teambayer by the end of April moving on to pursue the next step in my career. When I started as President of Bayer Consumer Health and joined Bayer’s Board of Management six years ago, I was given a big mandate – bring this business back to health. I’m so proud of the work we’ve done together to step-change our growth, EBITDA, and cash flow performance and transform our culture and capabilities.”

Schipper brings to the table an extensive career experience. He has an expertise in global foods and nutrition industry. He has decades of experience in sales and marketing as well.
Prior to Bayer, Schipper associated with Nestle for more than 20 years. He raised to several positions while serving at the company between 1996 and 2017. Raising from Marketing Trainee to CEO of Nestle Nutrition, Schipper spearheaded the business division, marketing and sales divisions of the company.
Schipper began his career in Marketing at The Heineken Company, since 1995. He graduated M.A Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam.

Schipper will take charge of Unilever and its Leadership Executive on 1st May 2024.
