Umesh Krishna, Marketing Director at Swiggy has stepped down from the company after a 4-year stint with the food delivery platform.
Krishna made the announcement in his LinkedIn post. “I had always imagined that separation from Swiggy would be painful. However, I walk into my last day at work feeling happy and content,” his LinkedIn post read.
At Swiggy, Krishna was responsible for driving multi moment marketing bringing together data, creative and media fronts. He was also responsible for defining the addressable audience, marketing budgets, and defining marketing metrics. He has also helped Swiggy in developing brand architecture, brand assets, brand strategy, and creative strategy. He was part of the brand’s use of Martech and ad tech, along with media planning, and buying for Television, Print, Radio, Out-Of-Home, and Digital Media. Krishna has also managed performance marketing for Swiggy’s private labels and cloud kitchens.
Prior to Swiggy, Krishna held the position of Marketing Manager at Ola.
