Twitter to charge slight cost for commercial and government users

Tesla CEO Elon Musk said that Twitter Inc would always be free for casual users but may charge a slight fee for commercial and government users.

He made this announcement in his Twitter post.

After taking control of Twitter by acquiring the social network for $44 billion Musk has been suggesting a series of changes to enhance the platform with new features.

Earlier this week at the annual Met Gala in New York, Musk also said he would make Twitter transparent about how tweets are promoted or demoted and wanted its software to be publicly available for critique.
