Bangalore: Kinnect, a part of the FCB India Group, India’s leading creative, data, and digital media powerhouse, releases a digital film for TVS Raider to celebrate love and equality this Valentine’s Day.
With the film #MyWickedValentine, TVS Raider celebrates the occasion of Valentine’s and people’s sentiments attached to this ‘Day of Love’ and puts out an important message of treating loved ones with equality.
Valentine’s day across the world is celebrated with huge gestures. While everyone celebrates love and the day is very relevant, it is defined by what one does to show love. The boundaries of romance signify flowers, chocolates, gifts, and more. TVS Raider, the youth-centric brand, represents breaking the norm and doing things differently. So, with #MyWickedValentine digital film, the brand took a rather ‘off-road’ approach to Valentines, one that will be well remembered for not being cliched.
Inspired by the simple idea of giving importance to equality in love, the film signifies that the day should be celebrated for experiences over materialism. Bringing this perspective beautifully to life, the film breaks away from the stereotypes of men riding bikes and switches the narrative to show that women ride bikes too. In a short sentence, All Equal!
Commenting on the launch of the film, Ashish Tambe, Executive Creative Director, Kinnect, said, “The film captures a very simple sentiment of love – doing simple things that both partners like trumps grand gestures and stereotypical celebrations. While showcasing this, we organically integrated the message that long bike rides aren’t only a male passion and shouldn’t be looked upon as one. Thus bringing a message of equality very subtly to the table.”
