New Delhi : French-language channel TV5MONDE has expanded its footprint in Bangladesh, launching on RealVU, the first-ever DTH platform in the country.
Following an agreement between TV5MONDE and Beximco Communications, the channel has grown its distribution in Bangladesh with its arrival on RealVU. TV5MONDE now reaches more than 270,000 homes throughout the country on cable and satellite offerings.
Alexandre Muller, the managing director for Asia Pacific at TV5MONDE, said, “We are just at the beginning of our long-term strategy in Bangladesh, to reach out the large pay-TV population in the country. Thanks to RealVU, we are now adding a high-quality solution and alternative for viewers to watch TV5MONDE’s exclusive content throughout the territory.”
It may be noted that TV5MONDE is aggressively focusing on expansion of its distribution in the sub-content as TV5MONDE Asie has similar signed a distribution pact with Tata Sky in India for expansion of its reach wider to 15 Million more subscribers.
