Hyderabad: Shreya Broadcasting, which owns and operates Telugu News channel TV5 Telugu has launched its Telugu devotional channel ‘Hindudharmam’ during last Ugadi day and its Kannada News Channel TV5 Kannada on 2nd October coinciding with its 10th anniversary.
As part of the promoters plan to expand the distribution reach of its Kannada News Channel TV5 Kannada and Spiritual Channel Hindudharmam, they have signeda distribution agreement with the leading DTH operator Tata Sky.
As per the deal both Hindusharmam and TV5 Kannada will be available on Tata Sky starting from today. While ‘Hindudharmam’ – the 24-hour Telugu devotional channel is now available in Tata Sky on Channel No. 1476 under the Devotional category, the Kannada TV5 News Kannada is available on Channel No. 1634 under News Channel Category.
Hindudharmam targets viewers of both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The channel is available in all the districts through all the multi-system operators (MSOs). Similarly, TV5 News Kannada is also available in all leading MSO across Bengaluru and Karnataka.
Placement of TV5 Kannada and Hinducharmam is likely to amplify the reach of both the channels with better prospect of viewership from across various markets.
The content of Hindudharmam channel comprises valuable speeches from well-known Scholars, Swamijis, Gurujis about our Puranas, Vedas and Dharmas along with special programmes on all Hindu festivals and their specialty. It also has short films on the culture and tradition of the temples.
