Mumbai: In a world dominated by instant messaging, the joy of handwritten communication still holds a special place. Tummoc, India’s leading public transit app, in collaboration with India Post and RV Travel Memoirs, has launched the ‘Send a Card to a Friend Day’ campaign, encouraging people to slow down, reconnect, and send meaningful handwritten messages.
As part of this initiative, beautifully designed Bengaluru-themed postcards, illustrated by RV Travel Memoirs, are available free of cost at GPO Bengaluru. These unique postcards capture the essence of the city’s public transport—from BMTC buses to bustling metro stations, celebrating the daily commutes that connect people across Namma Bengaluru.
Participants can pick up a postcard, write a heartfelt note, and drop it off at the post office, where India Post ensures it reaches its recipient, reigniting the nostalgia of handwritten letters.
Monalisha Thakur, Co-founder and CMO, Tummoc, shared the inspiration behind the campaign, “Sending a postcard isn’t just about the message but about the time, thought, and feeling behind it. In a world of instant communication, this campaign was our way of bringing back that warmth while celebrating Namma Bengaluru.”
At Tummoc, connecting people is at the heart of its mission—whether by helping commuters navigate public transport seamlessly or by reviving the lost art of personal communication.
This collaboration with India Post beautifully bridges tradition and technology, encouraging people to take a moment away from digital noise and create something truly personal and meaningful.
In today’s fast-paced world, a simple handwritten message can create a lasting memory, strengthening personal connections and reviving an age-old tradition. Tummoc invites Bengalureans to celebrate their city, its public transport, and the joy of thoughtful communication—one postcard at a time.
