Drinkwater, a Mumbai-based, 5-year old, independent design and communication power-house who are best known for their complete re-branding work of Naturals Ice-cream, have inducted a new member to their team recently.
Tuhin Chakraborty recently joined Drinkwater as the Business Director. Tuhin’s last assignment was in Muscat, Oman as the Brand Custodian of Kia Motors in Oman. As part of his last assignment, Tuhin was handling a global automotive brand for more than a decade and gathered a wide-ranging experience in the 360-degree brand communication space across all media including Retail & Digital. Prior to this, Tuhin worked in Mumbai with a Kolkata head-quartered agency for more than 5 years. Tuhin started his career with P&G in Kolkata as a marketing coordinator and then moved on to advertising as a Copy-writer with an agency in Kolkata and subsequently shifted to Account Planning & Brand Management. Tuhin has earlier worked on brands like Tata Steel, KSB Pumps, TVS, Sreeleathers, NALCO, IBP, P.C ChandrraJewellers, Reliance Industries, Kodak, Big Bazaar, Shaadi.com, Mars Restaurants, etc.
On his new role, Tuhin said “I am really excited to be back in action at the Mecca of Indian Advertising – Mumbai and especially at a time when the entire world is going through a tectonic shift overall. Every day is a new day full of uncertainty and challenges and the only constant in this scenario is change. All we need now is a lot of positive thinking and positive action and an attitude of gratitude with a firm belief that this too shall pass. On the induction of Tuhin to the Drinkwater team, an elated Prasad Patil, Co-founder of Drinkwater quipped “This was long overdue and we could finally complete this when we were relatively free from our regular assignments and projects.
