New Delhi: The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has released a Consultation Paper on “Issues relating to Uplinking and Downlinking of Television Channels” in India on 19th December.
The consultation paper from TRAI had invited comments, if any, from the stakeholders on issues relating to Uplinking and Downlinking of Television Channels. TRAI had fixed a deadline for submitting written comments by 18th January 2018 and counter- comments if any, from the stakeholders by 31st January 2018.
On request from the stakeholders, TRAI has extended time and has fixed the last date of written comments if any, from the stakeholders to 31st January 2018 and for counter comments the last date has been extended upto 10th February 2018. TRAI has also announced that no further requests for extension of written comments and counter comments submission will be entertained.
The written comments and counter comments may be sent preferably in electronic form, to Mr. S. K. Singhal, Advisor, Telecom Regulatory Authority of India.
