Mumbai: Times Network has announced ‘Public Manch’. This show aims to engage and empower voters. With a focus on first time voters, the show hosted by Navika Kumar, will be held at various colleges and campuses across the country. Public Manch, a weekly prime-time show will air every Friday starting February 23, at 7:55 PM on Times Now Navbharat and 9 pm on Times Now.
Ahead of the General Elections 2024, Public Manch aims to act as a direct conduit between the nation’s youth and political personalities, bureaucrats and thought leaders. The maiden episode of this show will feature the political strategist, Prashant Kishore. Public Manch is a platform, that looks to enable voters to understand the specifics of various issues before they cast their votes.
Navika Kumar, Group Editor-In-Chief, Times Now and Times Now Navbharat, said, ” The 25% increase in first-time voters for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, compared to 2019, underscores a significant shift in the political landscape. Public Manch will explore India’s political landscape, through conversations with influential figures on the campuses of Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Guwahati, Patna, and Bengaluru.
