Beyond #WFH is our initiative to spread positivity and inspire our readers by inviting leaders and friends to share what they do to unwind and relax after they finish their work-from-home and work-for-home responsibilities during the lockdown.
While Covid-19 has had multiple impacts on business and Beyond #WFH is not about business, it’s about self-discovery, things that will give us the strength to get through the lockdown, and more importantly for those ‘moments’ that will stay with us for long and beyond this pandemic. PS: We are not talking business!
In this story of Beyond #WFH we bring to you, Tarunjeet Rattan – Managing Partner, Nucleus PR.
I am exploring my creative side with gusto to reconnect with myself and my loved ones.
From trying out new dishes (experimental stuff I insist my husband try out), putting together mandala books (my saving grace), and learning more about Tik-Tok via online video tutorials with my 16-year-old niece (much to her amusement)! These help me reconnect with my family and it gives me strength.
With the frenzied news feeds, we received on a daily basis it can bog you down. To share a laugh, to have a deep conversation, to know that you are loved is a huge positive reinforcement that life has a lot to offer. Just the simple act of trying to create something for your loved ones is very heartening that is where cooking comes in. It also helps me connect with my parents and extended family who love sharing their family recipes with me. By now every member of our family WhatsApp group could possibly apply for the next season of Masterchef. Tik-Tok was a great way for me to find common ground with the younger members of my family and it led to us opening up our own company channel on the platform. Creating mandalas helps me stay calm when things get too overwhelming or too stressful.
