The Leela Palaces, Hotels, and Resorts, has appointed Shweta Jain as Chief Marketing and Sales Officer to strengthen its leadership team. Shweta, an experienced brand visionary, has led luxury lifestyle advancements in South Asia across Spirits, CPG, Wellness, Media, and Communications industries.
In her previous role at Diageo India, Shweta led transformative strategies driving double-digit premiumization growth. Known for bold initiatives and enhancing value, she spearheaded omnichannel experiences for Johnnie Walker, formed key partnerships for Singleton and Nicobar, launched Don Julio in India, and introduced sustainable luxury brands like Godawan.
Shweta’s global recognition is underscored by prestigious awards such as the ‘Keeper of the Quaich 2022’ for her outstanding contribution to the global growth of Scotch Whisky, ‘The Whisky Magazine Scotch Whisky Icon of the Year,’ and acknowledgment as one of Black Book’s ‘Top Luxury Leaders in India.’

Shweta earned an MBA in Marketing from IMS-DAVV University, Indore, and studied Luxury Strategy at HEC Paris. She guides startups, founders, and students, sharing insights and strategies on DEI and super-premium luxury growth in India. Beyond her professional and academic achievements, Shweta enjoys traveling and cooking with her husband and her children.
