Hyderabad: It seems Chandrasekar Rao has failed to transform from an activist mindset to an elected Chief Minister of the state of Telangana as he had openly threatened the Media in an outrageous manner, far exceeding the decorum that need to be maintained by a person in capacity of Chief Ministers of a state and what kind of impact it will create among the general public.
Earlier, a group of media persons were protesting peacefully to grab the attention of the Chief Minister at three places sporting placards, demanding lifting the ban on two Telugu news channels TV9 and ABN Andhrajyothi. However, they were rounded up by the police and taken to prison. The demonstration is due to the continuing highhandedness of Telangana government in terminating the transmission of news channels TV9 and ABN Andhrajyothi, despite clear directions from TDSAT, which directs the home secretary to give necessary protection to the MSOs in Telangana.
Telangana CM K Chandrasekar Rao exerted a worst ever attack against the media stating “he will break the neck of those who criticize his Government and kick them out of the state”, he also went on adding harsh words like “Cross your limit, See Your end” and “We Won’t Spare those who resort to mockery”…. “We will bury them under “are the sentences used by him when he was attacking media. He also made fun of Press Freedom in Telangana stating “You Want Media Freedom, we won’t even allow you to stay here”.
He also vented dangerous comments with deep-rooted separatist thought stating that these are the act of “Andhrawalas” referring the Capitalists from Andhra Pradesh who are running business in Hyderabad and made fun on them stating they are suffering from “Withdrawal Symptoms” and such ghosts need to be driven out of the state immediately because they are trying to create unnecessary dramas in Delhi, whereby he is referring the complaint launched by TV9 and ABN Andhrajyothi before TDSAT, TRAI and MIB.
Senior Journalists slammed the act of Chandrasekar Rao stating that “his act reminds them of emergency days” and his trying to hide his lack of governing ability. Instead of concentrating on developmental activities in newly formed state, he wants to continue diverting the people’s attention with such separatist thoughts, which is a complete violation of Democracy in the state.
