London : TCB Media Rights has sold more than 80 hours of content in Asia, including a new package agreement with National Geographic Channels (NGC) in the region.
NGC picked up Dog Patrol for FOX International Channels’ FOX Crime. The pay-TV outfit also tookPet Hoarders and World’s Most Extreme for its main NGC feed in Southeast Asia, Northeast Africa and the Middle East. Pet Hoarders has also been licensed for NGC’s main feed in India.
Discovery Asia nabbed Ainsley Eats the Streets, while TVB Hong Kong went for the eighth and ninth seasons of Bondi Rescue. LIC China opted for Pet Hoarders, Mega Food, Australia’s Deadliest and Shark Coast. China International TV Corporation scooped up The Passenger Who Landed a Planeand 747: The Jumbo Revolution, while Happy Movie acquired Nurses for CCTV.
Over in Japan, Hercules: The Human Bear is headed to NTV thanks to a deal with Intervision International. In addition, NHK Japan signed up for Treblinka: Hitler’s Killing Machine.
