Mumbai: Tata Consumer Products (TCP), a leading consumer products company, has announced the appointment of Partha Biswas as President and Head of its Ready-to-Drink (RTD) business, formerly known as Nourishco Beverages Ltd. This strategic move is in line with the company’s focus on strengthening and expanding its growth businesses.
With over 20 years of experience in category leadership, business strategy, sales, and marketing, Partha Biswas brings a wealth of expertise to his new role. Prior to joining TCP, he held key positions at Viacom18, ACT Fibernet, and Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages, where he demonstrated his ability to drive business growth and develop successful strategies.
“We are delighted to welcome Partha to Tata Consumer Products,” said Sunil D’Souza, Managing Director & CEO of TCP. “The RTD category is a key growth area for us, and Partha’s expertise will be instrumental in scaling up and accelerating the business, unlocking its full potential.”
The company also expressed its gratitude to Vikram Grover, who has decided to move on from TCP after a decade of service. During his tenure, Grover played a crucial role in achieving several milestones for the company’s branded tea business and later led the RTD business, focusing on scaling up the business and driving a strong portfolio across value and premium categories.
This appointment is a significant step forward for TCP, as it continues to strengthen its leadership team and drive growth in its key businesses. With Partha Biswas at the helm of the RTD business, the company is poised to capitalize on emerging opportunities and further establish its position in the market.
