Tata AIG General Insurance Company has announced the appointment of Anjani Kumar as Chief Technology Officer.
Kumar brings with him over 24 years of experience in digital business transformation and technology spectrum across diversified industries such as IT consulting, logistics, pharma, automobile and telecom industries. He will be tasked with driving the company’s digital agenda across B2C, B2B as well as, hybrid global enterprises.
Prior to joining Tata AIG, Kumar was the CIO of Strides, where he was responsible for driving their digital agenda through Signature “Path2Digital” Program.
Kumar’s career spans extensive experience including strategy & operations at Nissan, Strides and Safexpress, as well as, management of P&L for products and services at IBM and Collabera.

Kumar holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical from the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, and a Postgraduate Executive Management Program in Marketing and Management from the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University.
