As per the ratings of Hindi GEC for week 4, All channels Star Plus happened to be the major gainer while Zee TV, Life OK and SAB TV witnessed a decline. while Colors remained unchanged.
According to TAM data for week 4, the market topper Star Plus got further strengthened with surges in ratings to 659 million GVTs in week 4 from 613 in week 3 and 2. with this the channel regained its lost ground during week 2 as the channel’s ratings had dropped significantly to 613 million GVTs from 654 in the first week.
Colors retained no. 2 position and its ratings stood unchanged at 485 million GVTs this week just as it did in week 3.
Standing at No. 3 Zee TV witnessed a drop in its viewership this week. The channel’s ratings declined to 408 million GVTs from 417 in week 3. In week 2, the channel had recorded 433 million GVTs.
SAB TV stood at No. 4 despite its ratings continued to slip even this week. In week 4, the channel’s ratings dipped to 305 million GVTs compared with 318 in week 3. In week 2, SAB TV had recorded 328 million GVTs.
Life OK further slide down to no. 5 and also continued its falling trend to 299 million GVTs this week from 316 in week 3. In week 2, the channel’s ratings were recorded at 339 million GVTs.
Followed by Sony Entertainment Television (SET) at No. 6 witnessed a marginal rise in its viewership. The channel recorded 238 million GVTs compared with 235 in the previous week.
However, Zee Anmol saw its ratings increase to 96 million GVTs this week from 87 in week 3. Star Utsav witnessed a partial drop in its ratings. The channel recorded 79 million GVTs compared with 80 in week 3.
Big Magic continued to see its ratings fall to 49 million GVTs in week 4 from 57 in week 3 and 62 in the week earlier. Rishtey’s ratings dipped to 48 million GVTs in week 4 from 52 the last week.
Sony Pal, which had recorded its ratings rise marginally to 29 million GVTs in week 3 from 28 in week 2, witnessed a drop in viewership. The channel’s ratings dropped to 26 million GVTs this week.
Zindagi continued facing a drop in its ratings. The channel recorded 21 million GVTs in week 4 compared with 24 in week 3 and 30 in week 2.
Epic channel also recorded a dip in its ratings at 7 million GVTs this week from 8.3 in week 3.
Sahara One saw its ratings slip partially to 9 million GVTs in week 4 from 11 the last week.
