Mumbai : As per the TAM Ratings of Hindi GEC for week 16, All leading Hindhi GECs continued to witness the dropping trend of the previous week as all leading channels like Star Plus, Colors, Zee TV continued to decline week over week. The dropping trend was attributed to the IPL season, which on the other hand is posting a strong growth week over week.
According to TAM data for week 16, market leader Star Plus saw its ratings fall drastically to 545 million GVTs in week 16 from 601 million GVTs in week 15, which is a loss of 56 million GVTs in week over week.
Colors stood at no. 2, also witnessed a marginal decline in ratings as it fell to 404 million GVTs this week from 409 million GVTs in week 15.
Zee TV at no. 3 position too declined in week 16 as it fell to 377 million GVTs from 388 million GVTs in week 15.
Life OK improved marginally and rose to 4th position with 288 million GVTs in week 16 from 287 million GVTs in week 15.
Sab TV at no. 5 saw a huge drop in this week to 271 million GVTs in week 16 from 295 million GVTs in week 15. A loss of 23 million GVTs during the week.
At no. 6 Sony Entertainment Television happened to be the only major gainer in week 16 as it rose to 231 million GVTs from 221 million GVTs in week 15. which is an increase of 10 million GVTs.
&TV stood at no.7 and gained reasonably with 98 million GVTs in week 16 against 88 million GVTs in week 15.
Zee Anmol gained to 95 million GVTs this week from 92 million GVTs during last week.
Star Utsav on the other hand fell marginally to 94 million GVTs this week from 95 million GVTs last week.
Rishtey saw its ratings decline to 52 million GVTs in week 16 from 58 million GVTs in week 15.
Sony Pal witnessed marginal increase of 46 million GVTs week 15 against 44 million GVTs in week 15.
Sahara One saw its ratings rise to 7 million GVTs from 6 million GVTs in week 15.
