Taboola Unveils Abby: An Industry-First Generative AI Assistant for Advertisers

Taboola, a global leader in powering recommendations for the open web, has announced the launch of Abby, a groundbreaking Generative AI technology designed to simplify campaign management for advertisers. This innovative tool enables users to start and manage advertising campaigns without requiring deep expertise in the field.

Recent industry data reveals that nearly 91% of advertisers are either utilizing or considering the adoption of Generative AI technology. The trend is gaining momentum, as 81% of advertisers believe that such technology can enhance sales and improve return on investment.

Abby serves as an advanced AI assistant that guides advertisers through every aspect of campaign development, including budgeting, targeting, creative optimization, and more. Built on over a decade of successful advertising insights from Taboola, Abby enables advertisers to launch effective campaigns within minutes on a network of trusted premium publisher websites, reaching more than 600 million daily active users.

In preliminary testing, campaigns launched with Abby were estimated to go live 75% faster compared to those set up manually. The AI assistant prompts users with straightforward questions, automatically crafting media plans tailored to specific marketing objectives. Advertisers can easily focus on goals such as driving purchases, enhancing brand awareness, or generating leads, while also managing budget allocations between desktop and mobile platforms.

Moreover, Abby incorporates advanced Generative AI creative features, allowing users to create and modify images through a conversational interface. Advertisers can edit backgrounds, calls to action (CTAs), and generate relevant captions without needing any prior image editing experience.
