MUMBAI: Rohit Kapoor, CEO Swiggy Food recently shared his behind-the-scenes experience as a delivery partner to test out Bolt, Swiggy’s latest initiative that delivers food from nearby restaurants in 10 minutes, on social media. He was joined by Rocky Singh, a food enthusiast and Swiggy ambassador known for his show Highway on My Plate.
In his post, Kapoor addresses a common question raised by consumers: how is it possible to deliver food quickly?
Using GoPros, they documented their journey across Gurgaon, to deliver Bolt orders to customers, along with sneaking in a quick conversation with other delivery partners over a snack and a cup of chai.
They were accompanied by senior leaders from Swiggy.
One also got a glimpse of the Swiggy rider app where the leaders’ profiles were specifically created to receive and fulfil orders. After they completed their deliveries, they collectively reflected on their experience. Rocky highlighted how the delivery partner app does not show the partner that it is a Bolt order but just another regular order. He also added that through Bolt, the order will be delivered with the same dedication, commitment and care the delivery partners practice for every delivery, without them being penalized for the delivery time.
On social media, Kapoor shared his experience about spending the day exploring the streets and experiencing firsthand the hustle and bustle—or lack thereof—surrounding 10-minute food delivery.
