Mumbai: Swiggy, an on-demand convenience platform, has announced a groundbreaking partnership with ace Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant to co-own the Mumbai Pickle Power team in the inaugural season of the World Pickleball League (WPBL). This collaboration marks a significant milestone in promoting pickleball, a fast-growing sport both in India and globally, and underscores Swiggy’s commitment to fostering emerging trends and meaningful audience engagement.

The World Pickleball League, co-founded by former Indian tennis players Gaurav Natekar and Arati Ponnappa Natekar, is set to take place from January 24 to February 2, 2025. The inaugural six-team league will feature exciting matches, including Mumbai Pickle Power’s debut against Pune United in the league’s opening game.
All matches, including the grand finale on February 2, 2025, will be hosted at the Cricket Club of India (Brabourne Stadium) in Mumbai and streamed live on FanCode.
