The unstoppable growth of the COVID-19 pandemic has increased the challenges of the nation, exponentially. It has been observed that there is a significant shortage of 3-ply masks and PPE kits for our frontline healthcare warriors who are actively working to protect mankind.
Consequent, to fight this war together, SVG Media, the digital media agency from the house of Dentsu Aegis Network (DAN) India, has extended a helping hand by contributing one lakh 3-ply masks and 280 personal protection equipment (PPE) kits to Anil Vij (State Home Minister), Department of Ayush, Haryana and Ashok Sharma, DC, Ambala, respectively.
These masks and PPE kits are expected to safeguard frontline workers including doctors, nurses, and healthcare professionals who are engaging with infected patients daily, and hopefully, prevent them from getting affected by the COVID-19 infection, themselves.
Extending his words of gratitude, Anil Vij, Minister of Home, Ayush, Medical Education, Health, Science and Technology said, “I thank SVG Media for contributing to this humanitarian cause and all other corporates should follow suit.”
“SVG Media endeavors to make a meaningful and measurable impact on communities. As a company with diversified streams of media businesses, we take on opportunities to increase and deepen social impact and generate value for society. This is our heart-felt contribution to our frontline warriors who are putting duty above all,” added Deven Dharamdasani, CEO, SVG Media.
Anand Bhadkamkar, CEO, Dentsu Aegis Network India commented, “These are weary times and therefore, it is important, now more than ever, to rise against these challenges and make a difference in the world. With this, the SVG team has only moved our DAN legacy forward – the legacy of being ‘responsible’ and ‘compassionate’. These hard times won’t last for long. But memories of our actions will. I am sure we will conquer this pandemic together and walk toward a healthier tomorrow.”
