Bengaluru : Star India’s Kannada GEC Suvarna has announced the launch of its new fiction show ‘Preethi Endarenu’, which commences from 25th May 2015.
Apparently, Suvarna is looking to strengthen its evening time band with the launch of this new soap at 6:30 pm, as the channel has launched another show ‘Antahpura’ in its 7:00pm time band on 20th April.
The love story of youngsters on ‘Preethi Endarenu’ revolves around two friends Preethi and Abhishek. They have always been friends & partners in all their mischief’s since childhood. The crux of the story begins when Abhishek comes back with a degree from abroad and by this time, Preethi has also grown into an attractive young woman.
‘Preethi Endarenu’ takes off from this point and travels forward to determine whether their friendship stay innocent…? Will the happy bonhomie in Abhishek’s family last forever…? and How does love changes everything in lives of Abhishek and Preethi…?
Actors Janavi Kamath and Shrunga are playing the lead roles in Preethi Endarenu. Interestingly, Janavi and Shrunga had paired up for Chaitanya’s previous project Parari too.
The new daily soap ‘Preethi Endarenu’ is being directed by an award winning film maker Chaitanya K.M. His debut film ‘Aa Dinagalu’ is hailed as a cult classic in Kannada film industry and won a spate of awards including the prestigious Filmfare award for Best Film and Best Director.
Moreover, the title track of This Serial is written by our Rashtrakavi G S Shivarudrappa and this track was composed almost 24 years back by famous Kannada Music Director S R Ramakrishna. Kannada Theatre artist Sharath Lohithaswa son of actor Lohithaswa has lent his voice for the title track and made his debut in singing.
Speaking at the recent Press Meet KM Chaitanya said, “I have been balancing a good rapport between TV serials and movies, thanks for audience constant support who have accepted it. The inspiration for the title ‘Preethi Endarenu’ is from my grandfather aka Rashtrakavi GS Shivaruddrappa’s poetry”.
‘Preethi Endarenu’ is scheduled to be aired at 6:30 pm on every Monday to Saturday.
