Bengaluru: “Super Jodi” is one of the super hit celebrity reality shows on Star Suvarna and the second season of the reality show was launched on 7th January 2017.
Though the first season was launched during weekdays, the channel has strategically repositioned it as a weekend property during its second season.
According to the BARC India’s ratings for week 2 of 2017 pertaining to period from 7th January to 13th January, “Super Jodi Season 2” reality show has improves viewership by 21% on Saturday 8 PM and more than 2 times on Sunday 8 PM.
The Impressions (000s) of Star Suvarna’s Saturday Prime Time (8:00 PM to 9:30 PM) for Week 2 has increased to 2194 from the previous four weeks average of 1811 Impressions (000s) in Karnataka 4+ TG, thus helping the channel to add 21% higher viewership in the said time band.
Similarly, The Impressions (000s) of Star Suvarna’s Sunday Prime Time (8:00 PM to 10:00 PM) for Week 2 has increased to 1276 from the previous four weeks average of 513 Impressions (000s) in Karnataka 4+ TG, thus helping the channel to gain more than 2.5 times (249%) higher viewership in the said time band on Sunday.
With this Star Suvarna has also witnessed increase in its overall weekend viewership also.
Super Jodi format features real couples facing real challenges. Ten famous celebrity couples from Kannada’s film industry are taking part in this challenge. The show producers added some very difficult challenges for the couples in this season ensuring double “dhamaka” and double the thrill to enthrall the audience. The famous small screen host of Kannada industry Mr Akul Balaji is anchoring this season.
